The VSUZH represents all students at UZH, communicates their concerns to the Executive Board of the University and the public, and offers a range of services that enhance and facilitate student life. You can become a member by paying the voluntary fee when you first enroll. Your membership is then displayed on your validated UZH Card.

From surfing, to singing to drama: there are over 130 student organizations for you to get involved in. You can find out more about some of them at the activity fair which takes place at the beginning of each semester. If you want to get involved, you can contact the student organizations directly. The student associations represent the interests of students in the respective subjects. Many student associations also offer mentoring programs for new students. Join the network and get involved!

The ASVZ offers a varied sports program with some 600 classes a week in over 120 different sports. They range from the established classes, such as the popular fitness training (“Kondi”) in the large gymnasium, to lesser known ways to keep fit, such as BigAir Training, Capoeira and fabric acrobatics. As a student at UZH, you can join in for just CHF 35 per semester.
