To change your degree and/or study program, you must fulfill the language requirements. The languages of instruction for the study programs at the University of Zurich are German or English. Certain study programs or teaching subjects require language skills in other languages.
Foreign-language applicants must demonstrate that they have at least C1-level language skills for their chosen study programs in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Fulfillment of the necessary language requirements must be evidenced by a language certificate recognized by the University of Zurich, unless the prospective student is exempted by waivers laid down in the relevant regulations.
