To change your degree and/or study program, you must fulfill the language requirements. The main languages of instruction at UZH are German for Bachelor’s degrees and teaching diploma programs, and German, English, French, Italian and Spanish for Master's programs.
Foreign-language applicants must demonstrate that they have at least C1-level language skills for their chosen study programs in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Fulfillment of the necessary language requirements must be evidenced by a language certificate recognized by the University of Zurich, unless the prospective student is exempted by waivers laid down in the relevant regulations.
